Google has taken another step to enhance its email service and it does not want to take a chance for any of its products now since the evolution of Facebook. Either its the Google Search, Gmail, Google +, Blogger or any of its other services, it has improved all of them a lot and still working harder on them. I moved all my emails from other providers to Gmail because of the functionality it offers and you can do the same by importing your emails and contacts to Gmail.
Yesterday with the launch of Google Drive, the company also announced on its official blog that the Gmail storage space will be increased to 10 GB instead of the currently offered 7.5 GB. When I got the update, it was written that it would take next 24 hours for the update to take place and now my account has been upgraded to 9503 MB ( 9.5 GB )
Google says people will love this little bump, for me its a huge one somewhere around 2.5 GB as I have not used this much space in my Gmail account. What about you friends ? Do share the used space in your account with us. Incase you are still using any other email service its a wise idea to switch to Gmail as early as possible as you will be familiar with the service instead of doing the same later on.
